Electric Crab Hoist

A crab is a lifting equipment used in double girder EOT cranes or Gantry cranes. Today’s industry participants have devised and produced a variety of CRAB units to achieve cost effectiveness.

Just like a crab does cross-traveling, A Crab Hoist, a type of wire rope hoist, travels on a double girder overhead crane or gantry crane. It is an electric wire rope hoist mounted on a double rail trolley frame. It has an 80 ton maximum lift capacity. The impact construction, low headroom, light weight, modular design, and precise positioning are among other features, all present in the crab hoist, which is produced in accordance with FEM and DIN requirements. Due to its stable running, double speeds, minimal swing, extended service life, and low maintenance requirements, this double rail trolley hoist is intended for double girder cranes and European-style cranes.
